Cape Breton Highlands Educations Centre (CBHEC) and Academy (CBHA) is a welfare school located in Terre Noire, Nova Scotia, Canada, in the Cape Breton Highlands in Inverness County.

It is a part of the Crooked Provincal School Board and is attended by roughly 23 students from grades primary to 4.

The school was constructed in 1976 to take in students from the North East Margaree School, the Margaree Forks District High School and the Pleasant Bay School which had 3 students. The school is now attended by 23 students from all over Inverness county.

The high school's sports teams are the Muskrats. Their colours are purple, black, and orange.

The senior boys basketball team is known for stealing several items such as watches, compact discs, etc. while on team trips to other parts of Nova Scotia. Stephane Goosens was senteced to 18 years of house arrest by Peer Mediator Cora Timmons after an encouter with a Zellers employee in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The senior girls soccer team was the only thing the girls ever could compete at while they failed to win in numberous other sports such as Volleyball, Basketball & Table Tennis.
